I know that it's been forever since I've done a meal plan! I'm finding it hard to get everything done, now that we're back in the swing of school! I've got school, preschool, work, piano lessons, soccer starting up - busy, busy, busy! We have been eating, just nothing very exciting! ;-)
Here's what's up for this week!
Monday: Beef Rouladen, Spatzel (it was a happy day when I found that you can buy this at World Market!), Sourkraut, Green Beans
Tuesday: Grilled Shrimp with Garlic Butter, Roasted Asparagus, Rice
Wednesday: Homemade Pizza, Salad
Thursday: Chicken Spaghetti, Corn
Friday: Eating on the road! We're heading to my in-laws' house for the weekend after Owen's first soccer practice!
Off to buy teeny-tiny cleats and shin guards!

Ok - Joanne, teach me how to make spatzel. I'm intrigued.
Ummm, you buy a box of dried spatzel, and boil it like pasta! That's it! I have no idea how to make it from scratch! A German friend of mine would pan fry them with butter (after they were boiled). I've done that before, but since I usually put whatever gravy the meat has on top of the spatzel, too, I don't bother.
Ok - so you don't have to say it all like I'm stupid. :) I asked cause I googled it after I read it on your blog and the recipes, sounded way more intense than I wanted to do. But I definitely like the buy the bag and boil it method. I can do that. :) Thanks Joanne.
Ha ha! I didn't mean for it to come across like that at all! I really only said it because I truthfully have no idea how to do it without it being the "cheater" way!
This menu sounds awesome! Can we come spend the week at your house??
Come on over, Johnna! Y'all are more than welcome, any time!
